Noorvik is our first Canadian Eskimo Dog, we came across the breed after starting to compete in Dryland Mushing with our Dalmatian George. There we met Racheal Bailey and her Canadian Eskimo Dog Teams, she had a litter on the ground ready and again the rest is history! Since we have had Noorvik unfortunately Racheal Bailey lost his father Napu to bloat, we feel blessed to be able to carry Napu’s memory forward together with when the time comes his genes too. 

Noorvik will be available at stud to approved (by Racheal Bailey) health tested bitches only. Subject to his own hipscore being done early next year.

Noorvik is such a funny boy, loved by everyone that meets him with his amusing mannerisms and charm. He is very much a people pleaser and loves a cuddle, usually just when the judge wants to go over him! We have campaigned him lightly throughout Puppy and now into the Open Class, he has gained multiple Best Dog and Reserve Best dog awards together with Best of Breed at both Open and Championship level. 

He is currently entering his second working season teamed up with Tarva as a two dog team with Ian at the helm. He especially likes to show off on the start line and then when out of view drop back into working mode and steady away around the trail. We have attempted weight pull with Noorvik to find that this isn’t his ‘bag’ he doesn’t see the point in it so we are happy to let him show himself off in the show ring and throughout working season compete at rallies.
