When we decided that we were not able to breed from Fenn we had to look elsewhere to start our foundations again. Tegan’s mum Bugsy was out of our very own Boris (Konavlje Spot Boris) and a bitch full of type which we loved so naturally when she was mated we went to look at the puppies and we were very grateful to Diane Dinsdale to be able to bring Tegan home with us. She was such a cheeky puppy and she immediately fitted straight in!!

We showed Tegan very lightly as showing was not high on our agenda at this moment in time but she was always in the line ups and gained her stud book number reasonably soon in her career.

Tegan was an extremely loyal girl and the most wonderful mother to two litters producing my own Walter (Koroyza Candy Man) and in her second litter Petra (Koroyza’s Femme Fatale). Affectionately we always refer to her as injecting the ‘jumping gene’ into our breeding program, she loved to launch herself into the air in front of you and very gracefully give you a flying kiss!!

She also loved to please and at this point I had become more involved with the Carriage Dog Trials, I had entered Fenn to compete on this particular occasion and Fenn, unfortunately, had an accident and went lame so I decided to at the last minute enter Tegan and she gained her Bronze Road Dog title at 18months after only six weeks of training!
