Erin was a failed foster, she came back to her breeder Leslie as a puppy the owner couldn’t handle and her mum, unfortunately, rejected her. Donna took her on as a foster and she went nowhere, it was around the time that Donna’s dog Travis was no longer showing and Erin took his place in the ring! To say she was never chosen to be the show dog as such she took to it like a duck to water and was consistently placed throughout her career she was such a happy showgirl who loved the show ring, she gained 1RCC.

Erin was independent and outgoing in nature with a cheeky side to her, she made the best mother to Rodney and his siblings. I will always be in awe of this bitch; she retained two puppies high in her ribcage when she whelped and several days after even after visits to the vets she went downhill and after x-rays to find two decomposing puppies high in her ribcage she had to spend a whole week as an inpatient recovering from toxic shock. When she eventually returned home we were advised to keep her calm and away from the puppies but she had other ideas and literally screamed the house down to see the pups. We couldn’t keep her away, once she was back with them she settled and amazingly she started lactating the next day and reared her pups from thereon in!!

She was always close to her son Rodney (Koroyza Grippi Ill Miracolo), this was her first and final litter due to the complications.
